Our seasoned Patent and Trademark & Copyright teams work to cost-effectively to secure and maintain clients’ intellectual property assets and rights around the world. We prosecute patent, trademark and copyright applications, maintain rights and assist clients in obtaining and enforcing such rights in the U.S. and abroad.

Our patent team is headed by partner David LaRiviere, former Chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the California State Bar Association, former Co-Chair of the Council of State Bar Sections, and an AV-rated patent/trademark professional with over thirty-five years of legal and industrial experience. The core team also includes registered patent agent C. Kelley Crossman, and a highly experienced team of patent paralegals and administrators.

Matt Powelson, a member of the Executive Committee of the Intellectual Property Section, leads our trademark team. Matt is joined by associates Christopher Passarelli, William Samuels, and Greg Kelly, as well as seasoned team of trademark/copyright paralegals and administrators.
