LGP’s Bangkok Office Participates in Big Anti-Counterfeit Raid. The Bangkok office of LaRiviere, Grubman & Payne (LGP) worked over the Christmas weekend in support of large-scale Customs Office raids of counterfeit goods in Phuket, Thailand. Thousands of pieces of jeans, socks, hats, luggage, hand bags, shoes and glasses of well-known brand names (such as Gucci, Prada and Adidas) were seized from an organized band of counterfeiters. Over 15 million baht (several hundreds of thousands of dollars) of goods were involved. Led by Ed Kelly in the Bangkok office, LGP represents several clients with well-known brands in anti-counterfeit work in Southeast Asia.
